THIS ,MOVIE IS AMAZING. EVEN IF IT WAS SAD OR TENSE, ID RECCOMMEND IT FOR TEACHING ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED IN ALABAMA IN 1963... AND YES, THE CHURCH BOMBING WAS REAL, VERY, VERY SAD BUT TRUE.

Terrific. Simple coming of age story in the middle of America's coming of age story. A focus on the heroes of the civil rights movement from the perspective of the people whose lives were changed forever. Appropriate for children, but still powerful for adults. If your child doesn't yet know this history, this is the time, and this is the vehicle.
