درباره این فیلم

Based on the bestselling book, The Watsons Go To Birmingham, the film chronicles the ordinary interactions and everyday routines of the Watsons, an African American family living in Flint, Michigan, and how they are drastically changed after they go to visit Grandma in Alabama in the summer of 1963 during the height of the civil rights movement.

THIS ,MOVIE IS AMAZING. EVEN IF IT WAS SAD OR TENSE, ID RECCOMMEND IT FOR TEACHING ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED IN ALABAMA IN 1963... AND YES, THE CHURCH BOMBING WAS REAL, VERY, VERY SAD BUT TRUE.

Terrific. Simple coming of age story in the middle of America's coming of age story. A focus on the heroes of the civil rights movement from the perspective of the people whose lives were changed forever. Appropriate for children, but still powerful for adults. If your child doesn't yet know this history, this is the time, and this is the vehicle.
