About this movie

Joan Collins, Jayne Mansfield and Dan Dailey star in this engaging drama based on a novel by John Steinbeck. Three strangers -- a stripper (Mansfield), an alcoholic wife (Collins) and a traveling salesman (Dailey) -- embark on a life-changing journey on a fateful bus ride. As the road presents challenges, each character faces his or her own shortcomings, not knowing where life will lead next.

Oh wow. That she would play that character back then behind Mansfield when later she's like oooh in Dynasty was such a gem to watch and she played it so well. It was a big twist on the book of short stories but altogether they made it a romantic hollywoodsy movie that worked with Joan Collins who later years still makes it known and she should get cudos more than the writer for it. Seriously. For a movie yeah. It's another would she stand behind her guy knowing he would steer off and not have funds to get an updated truck and she's having problems keeping up her café and so forth, who would kinda be like a Flo character later. To me, in acting, for her to carry this movie as a lead against Mansfield was to me incredible and extraordinary of back them, a small name Joan Collins.
