When Broadway director Bix Bixby (Cagney--Mr. Roberts, Yankee Doodle Dandy) reluctantly accepts a job to stage a musical at West Point written by producer Harry Eberhart's (Roland Winters) nephew, Tom Fletcher (MacRae--Oklahoma!, Carousel), Bixby realizes that the young cadet's show could travel to Broadway. Now as Bixby brings in Eve Dillon (Mayo--The Best Years of Our Lives) and Jan Wilson (Day--That Touch of Mink, Pillow Talk), show business and military cultures clash as romance blooms between starlets and cadets with surprising results.
