Found this movie quite terribly written. Madoff admits the gig is up at the beginning and off we go on a back-and-forth timeline of the story. Bernie is portrayed as a typical rich person while Michelle Pfeiffer smokes cigarettes and talks in a "Housewives of New Jersey" accent. Except for Bernie, who is either pissed off or catatonic in every scene, the rest of the family stands around and argues, "Do you know how this makes ME feel!" That's the whole movie.

Another one of HBOs best movies about real events. Great acting from everyone.

One of the few examples where the movie is better than the book. This movie was light years better than the book.
