Lawrence Talbot (Benicio Del Toro) is lured back to his family estate to investigate the savage murder of his brother by a bloodthirsty beast. There, Talbot must confront his childhood demons, his estranged father (Anthony Hopkins), his brother's grieving fiancée (Emily Blunt, The Devil Wears Prada) and a suspicious Scotland Yard Inspector (Hugo Weaving, The Matrix Trilogy). When Talbot is bitten by the creature, he becomes eternally cursed and soon discovers a fate far worse than death. Inspired by the classic Universal film that launched a legacy of horror, The Wolfman brings the myth of a cursed man back to its iconic origins.

Some high-profile actors here doing their best with a film that did not need to be remade. Wasn't a complete waste of time but then again it didn't blow my socks off either

Retelling of this tale was great. Benicio Del Toro "owned" his character...a kind quiet man who comes home, only to face the terrifying. Character development was good not heavy handed. good acting. Watch for the subtle facial expressions that reveal inner thoughts.. Amazing creature creation. Rick Baker and Benicio bring Wolfman to another level of scary. Anthony Hopkins is most chilling.

I loved it! I've always loved horror movies. When the original movie was made there was so much not told, the technology we have today as well as the screenwriter's vision; simply took one of my all time Faves to the Next Level! Bravo to the Actors, Actress and Suppoting Cast!❤❤❤❗❗
