Daniel Smith
Poor is not strong enough to describe this film. Having seen the stage version and read the book by Susan Hill I was expecting a chilling gothic film which made me jump and shiver, but it did none of that and barely kept my interest. It barely sticks to the storyline and has large sections missing and even adds others in for no apparent reason. The changes to the story ruin it in my opinion. Also, Daniel Radcliffe was out of his depth, he showed very little emotion, even in the nursery for the first time which is supposed to be one of the more scary scenes.

It's the first horror/thriller that has made me actually jump in quite a while, the story isn't amazing and Daniel radcliffe seems a bit out of place (for obvious reasons) but in general a good scare to watch with the lights out.
