When a cool billion in US gold bullion is stolen in Denmark, ICE sends their best man, Matt Helm (Dean Martin), to recover the loot before the world collapses in financial ruin. Aided and distracted by sexy fellow agent Freya Carlson (Sharon Tate), the intrepid superspy soon unmasks the mastermind behind the heist: Count Massimo Contini (Nigel Green), the celebrated international crime czar. Determined to keep his ill-gotten gain, the Count orders THE WRECKING CREW (Elke Sommers and Nancy Kwan) - two gorgeous assassins trained in guns, explosives and karate - to dispatch Helm once-and for-all.
