Multiple Golden Globe and Oscar-winners Gregory Peck ("To Kill a Mockingbird," "Gentleman's Agreement") and Jane Wyman ("Magnificent Obsession," "Johnny Belinda") star in this Academy Award-winning family drama about a young boy whose pet deer threatens his family's farm. Peck, Wyman, and Oscar-nominated director Clarence Brown ("National Velvet") all received Oscar-nominations. Claude Jarman Jr. ("Intruder in the Dust") received a special Oscar for Outstanding Child Actor. Recently selected by the prestigious American Film Institute as one of the 400 greatest American films of all time.

A epic book and a epic movie.. the way it actually was back then... the idot that said " it was typical redneck trash " is a IDOT and a MORION DUMB ASS!!!..... I guess his Ancestors....were all from a big city! And there food only magically appears in a grocery store.....

This movie is so good I could watch it over and over and over again. I am trying to buy this movie. Just don't know where to buy it

Sad story, disliked it very much.
