OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES AND PERSPECTIVES FROM BOTH SIDES. Dean Martin great dramatic actor; and i don't care IF Montgomery Clift was gay - he saved that drowning soldiers life who persecuted him earlier and won his respect! Marlon Brando is superb.

Automatically ruined by the casting of mumblebum rapist Brando.
