The investigation leads to a nest of atomically mutated giant ants that threaten to destroy mankind. After a ferocious battle the humans gain the upper hand, destroying the nest--but not before a queen and drones escape. Love it. Total camp. Saw it on a local TV station when there were local TV stations, not just network stations that happen to have local news. Anyway, it's a great film.

One of the best classic movies of this genre even though it's in black and white. Top notch story, suspense and acting. Robert
