Investigating the stories of these songs, this illuminating film takes us on an epic tour as we travel with the power of the music through Southwest America, slavery in the deep South, and as far away as the Scottish Highlands.

Great documentary of our Creek and Seminole Hymns! Written and directed by my cousin, and featuring my Dad. This movie will always be a special one to me. My cousin didn't tell me he included footage from my Mom's funeral, so the first time I saw it I couldn't hold back the tears. Such a tough memory to relive, but in the context of this documentary, it was powerful.

My father is in this. Wotko Long. I couldn't help but get choked up to hear stories my father never told me growing up. A side my father kept well hidden, who he was in Vietnam.
