In the film Thistle we are introduced to several of these resilient women, and hear their stories of overcoming trauma and finding hope in community. The film also highlights Becca Stevens, a trail-blazing Episcopal priest who for 20 years has been building one of the most unique and successful recovery communities in the US, one day at a time.
