I think this movie is so underrated and overhated. A whole bunch was cut from this movie to make it more friendly and not as long thus giving it low reviews due to plot holes. I've grown up watching this and with seeing the deleted storylines and interviews on the ne Blu-ray release, I appreciate this movie a lot more. The ending, in my opinion, is beautiful and happy, I almost want to cry it's so great. I highly recommend this film as it will entertain the young ones and maybe yourself.

I recently got this movie to enjoy some childhood memories. It was great because it's not babishly made like the new made Thomas shows and there's real people in it, but I don't believe that Sodor is magic. And why does Thomas, Percy and James speak with accents when the other engines don't; and why were women used to do James and Percy's voices? They sound like female engines! And Junior must be an adopted cousin because he would not have a thick Australian accent if he were really Mr. C's cousin. Also, Lady's voice sounded like Thomas's one time. However, I still enjoyed it and I love the part when Mr. C puts on the hat, looks in the mirror and says, "where were you?" and when Diesel falls off the bridge! 😂

This movie will always hold a special place in my heart but with the last minute editing its not a good movie. The Behind the Scenes with this movie are more interesting than the movie. This movie should be a cautionary tale to Hollywood about what happens when a studio forces changes upon a director.
