Thoovanathumbikal is a 1987 Indian Malayalam-language romantic drama film written and directed by P. Padmarajan, based partly on his own novel Udakappola. It revolves around Jayakrishnan, who falls in love with two women; Radha, a distant relative of his, and Clara, an escort in town.
An experimental film, it was a commercial failure at the box office, but over the years it has turned into a cult film with a large fan following.
