As a child, my father had brought home Marvel Comics. My young mind just got wrapped up in the illustrations, story lines, and different characters. With each panel and page, the excitement would grow as to what twist was next. I had delayed watching any of the movies concerning Thor because I believed there was no way they could do justice with the whole way that Thor was presented in those flimsy , little, comics. Dr. Donald Blake, a cripple, physically weak, individual, who had found a piece of wood to use as an aid because he was lame, ended up striking the stick, and transformed into The Mighty Thor! But although none of that exist in this movie with the exception of the Donald Blake name, I enjoyed the new telling of this story. Especially with my favorite inanimate object, the Hammer!!!

I felt like they could of had Jane and Thor spend more time together because when he's about to say goodbye to her and go back to Asgard I felt nothing. That could of been fleshed out a bit more. Nevertheless this is quite good. The CGI is fine and the other characters are cool. Loki is definitely the best thing about this film.
