The most awkward trilogy in the MCU. The 3rd trilogy in the MCU is possibly
the most rockiest and most off trilogies in the MCU and superhero films in
general. It's clear the trilogy didn't have a straight vision and by Thor
3, most of the elements that were traced over the past 2 films are ether
ditched or not touched upon as they should be. The qualities of these films
are also distinct. The first Thor is alright. It has some enjoyable bits
and does a good job at setting some of the ground work for both Captain
America and Avengers in terms of story. But it's not really anything
special and not something many people will watch by itself unless
marathoning the entirety of the MCU. Thor 2 is arguably the worst MCU film.
It's not the worst film ever, but it's hardly memorable and is very bland.
Thor 3 is great and one of my favorites in the MCU, but suffers from the
fact that it feels off and unsatisfying when looking at it as a 3rd
installment as a trilogy. All these elements make Thor possably the weakest
Trilogy in the MCU. The Captain America and Iron Man trilogies had some
issues, but I feel like I can watch these and get a complete character arc
to some degree. The Thor trilogy, doesn't really have this

3 and a half. Ragnarok is an awesome retro dazzler. 2 bored me, but 1
wasn't that bad, I didn't care much for it, but I should see 1 again. There
is a small chance I'd see 2 again. Maybe smaller. It's probably there.

Thor is a nice and entertaining film but it was kind of forgettable. Thor 2 was boring and a bit of a bad film. It is one of my least favorite marvel movies. Thor 3 is very funny and by far the best of the trilogy although the comedic tone it has does not really match the other two films which are very shakespearean.
