Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder finds the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he's ever faced – one of self-discovery. But his efforts are interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor's surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher's vengeance and stop him before it's too late. This movie is beyond awful. It was a genuine effort for me to watch it through to the end. The CGI was really bad, and the script wooden and tired. The smug, self referential humour running all the way through it failed to make me laugh once, and prevented me from engaging with any of the characters. Don't waste your time, take my word for it, this is total dreck.

The weakest of the Marvel movies, poor plot. When I watch the Marvel series this is one I'll definitely miss out. Save your money.

It's tongue in cheek funny, if you want heavy and serious, its not for you. If you want to just enjoy a movie where you intermittently burst out laughing whilst shovelling down salted caramel ice cream this is your movie. Ice cream optional, (no it's not, eat the ice cream haha).
