About this movie

Award-winning actress Frances McDormand (Fargo) delivers a stunningly powerful performance in this darkly comic drama that has been hailed as one of the year’s best films. A murdered girl’s defiant mother (McDormand) boldly paints three local signs with a controversial message, igniting a furious battle with a volatile cop (Sam Rockwell) and the town’s revered chief of police (Woody Harrelson).

Hamfisted, sledgehammer style direction and writing, and somewhat overacted by all concerned perhaps to cover for a poor script. Its way of pleasing the audience - by packing in as many fashionable social media topics as possible to score Hollywood virtue points - is cringey yet almost keeps you watching to see how bad the movie will actually get.

Impossible de lire la vidéo, erreur technique, répétitive malheureusement. Donc préférez les films en VF sur Google pour être certains d'avoir 1 chance de les comprendre, c'est ce que je ferai dorénavant. Les VO au cinéma sur grand écran.

Great shoot. Interesting tittle m themes. I expecting the story could grow wider than this, from the idea of "three billboards", waiting for the climax of the story. But its kind of "are we there yet" movie?
