À propos de ce film

Award-winning actress Frances McDormand (Fargo) delivers a stunningly powerful performance in this darkly comic drama that has been hailed as one of the year’s best films. A murdered girl’s defiant mother (McDormand) boldly paints three local signs with a controversial message, igniting a furious battle with a volatile cop (Sam Rockwell) and the town’s revered chief of police (Woody Harrelson).

A thorough let down. A Cohen brothers wanna be.What's sad is that it could actually have been a very good film. Starts off strong. Good actors. Somewhere around the middle the story takes a turn and you go, huh! It's downhill from there. The ending caps it off. Credits come up and you day to yourself, "no, they didn't do that". But they did. Don't waste a perfectly good two hours.

Dark and Dissatisfying I am saddened that Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is nominated for Best Picture of the Year. I feel that the film possesses an inventful premise. However, I think that the drama is filled to the brim with lingering hatred from beginning to end! Though I believe that the script is well-acted, I think that it includes numerous stereotypes. I felt numb after I watched the movie for I thought that it left little hope for positive changes amongst its characters.

It has a good story line but nothing is resolved. That's what makes a movie worth watching, justice being served. IMO The language is TERRIBLE. The father (Woody H.) speaking to those little girls like that, how sad. I live in MO and I haven't heard anyone talking to each other like that. I know it's just a movie but seriously, is foul language necessary to make a movie Oscar worthy? I regret watching it.
