Fantastic movie, France McDormond gives an empowering performance with a huge spectrum of emotive scenes, but she battles for total scene dominance with the enchanting Sam Rockwell who gives a touching but raw take on your stereotypical american hick cop. Throughout the movie they battle for the 'standout' but by the end of the movie their characters understanding really come through in their performance giving you a strong camaraderie. However, whilst they thought their main competition lay in each other it is Woody Harrelson who gives the winning rendition and steals the show. All in All a fantastic movie worth the time and thought required to truly understand the themes.

The whole thing was shocking perfection; utter perfection. I can be a very harsh critic but what an incredible film, neigh, art piece this was! In the space of 2 hours I cried, laughed and was on the edge of my seat, due to impeccable acting and directing, with memorable, stunning cinematography throughout. It's been a while since anything of this emotional magnitude has been released, so I definitely felt a sigh of relief throughout this bitter, comedic masterpiece of few ups and many downs. This compellingly haunting story of the outrage of a grieving mother was complete genius!

easily the best film i have ever seen, a fantastic story line and the ending just adds to what is already an absolute masterpiece. McDonagh, Rockwell, and Harrelson are all fantastic. The absolute must see film of 2018. The first film I ever pre ordered on DVD as soon as i had seen at cinema. An angry story line with comedy, drama and action mixed in make for a truly amazing film. would give it 100 stars if i could !
