About this movie

Joseph Turner, a CIA researcher analysing and deciphering spy novels to find evidence of leakage, discovers a clandestine network. Soon after, two men enter the agency and shoot down the occupants. Turner runs away and as the "Condor", he investigates and exposes the conspirators. Ratings and reviews

Really enjoyed this when I first watched it decades ago. But even with all the dated technology, it hasn't aged well. Some of it is really well done, and exciting, but some of it is cringeworthy.

Typical of movies in that era, when movies said something worthwhile, added something. Political consciousness wrapped in a good story and good filmmaking. Sydney Pollack was one of the best.
