Just skip. Over-sensationalized, poor acting, bad-script, and just boring overall. The special effects, costumes, and sets are lipstick on a pig. This movie will be relegated to cable c-movie re-runs. Instead, watch the 1993 version by Disney which despite it's flaws, has held up pretty well after all these years.

I really enjoyed this movie. I saw it three times in 3D at the theatres and i have it on BluRay. I am still, however, waiting for an adaptation of this classic tale that follows the book in the way that D'Artagnan DOESNT end up with Constance, but instead because of his arrogance and lust for Milady, ends up getting Constance killed.

A little SciFi in Europe in the Sixteen-hundreds adds some good humor... I like it. On the same side as "A Knight's Tale" with modern-day Rock Music...Like that also. The character of King Louis was not well writ & played bit too much over the top. It stood-out every scene, as a dumb play, so the humor was lost & audiences were waiting for it to move on with quickness. Over it was good, not grand & would have been 4★s without the above mentioned. A purchased. Mic Cl;-)~ Ririe, Idaho USA
