The beloved fairytale comes to life in this magical animated musical featuring an all-star voice cast, including Carol Channing, John Hurt and Gilbert Gottfried. When tiny Thumbelina (Jodi Benson) meets Prince Cornelius (Gary Imhoff), it's true love. But, before she can marry Cornelius, the would-be princess has a very strange adventure in this story of love, friendship and the importance of hope.

Not very good, but fine for little kids. I do think the interspecies attraction and almost marriage is a little too weird, but not to the point where it gets gross.

I fondly recall sitting on my parents bed, snuggling my favorite stuffy, and wearing a pair of costume fairy wings, watching my favorite movie... and then rewinding the vhs tape to watch it all over again. This happened several times per day. This movie is such a joy. It was a childhood favorite, and I can honestly say I will never tire of laughing, swooning, and singing along to this fun, family film.

This is the movie of my childhood. As you usually do with old movies you watched when you were younger, I had forgotten about this movie. However I was on YouTube recently and saw a small clip of it in a video. It instantly sparked my memory and I went searching for the name. When I finally found it a while bunch of memories came flooding back. I remember loving this movie when i was small. The love between Thumbelina and the fairy prince was all my 8 year old heart wanted to see in a movie.
