A powerful movie with a great talented cast that presents the brutal and cowardly murder and aftermath of 14-year Emmett Till a teenager from Chicago who was killed whilst visiting family in the US state of Mississippi. Emmett smother Mamie fights through her grief and makes America and the world pay attention to the tragedy and the plight of Black America who with the birth of the civil rights movement of the aim to hold America accountable to it promise of freedom and equality for all.
