Set in a 19th century European village, this stop-motion, animated feature follows the story of Victor (voiced by JOHNNY DEPP), a young man who is whisked away to the underworld and wed to a mysterious Corpse Bride, while his real bride, Victoria, waits bereft in the land of the living. Though life in the Land of the Dead proves to be a lot more colorful than his strict Victorian upbringing, Victor learns that there is nothing in this world, or the next, that can keep him away from his one true love MPAA Rating: PG (c) 2005 Warner Bros. As a grown male adult, this is one of my favorite animations and will one day be a personal classic. Hard to get tired of and doesn't have cheesy Disney music that makes you want fast forward or skip to the next scene. Highly recommended.

While the story was weird it was still kind of neat. I enjoyed watching it except for the singing. Would have been better if not a musical.

Watched this marvellous movie many times. The story line, the dialogues, the characters, the character development, the music, and everything else are incredibly polished, intelligent, and deep. This movie is certainly a masterpiece.
