About this movie

Suzanne Stone (Nicole Kidman) has always dreamed of being on TV and she's dead-set on making that dream come true. But there is just one obstacle: Larry Maretto, her husband (Matt Dillon). So, Suzanne convinces a love-struck teenager (Joaquin Phoenix) to get Larry out of the way for good. TO DIE FOR is the most critically acclaimed comedy of the year. © 1995 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

Amusing, dark comedy/thriller. Great cast with sharp writing/storytelling. Nicole Kidman is impossibly sexy and her scheming, sex driven antics are the only reason I return to watch this now. I love Nicole Kidman and own this movie but this is not one of my go-to Kidman films. For me, the full movie is a one time, once every 10 years kind of a viewing💯

Probably, my favorite from any Female Actress of all time. Incredible acting, Nicole Kidman really is to die for. Every nuance of the way she plays the vapid, attention-hungry, self-serving Suzanne is brilliance. I wish more films were as good as this cuttingly accurate depiction of media obsession and how we justify our behavior. If you haven't seen it. I highly recommend it.
