After 60 years of marriage, devoted couple Philip and Rosemary Twain become separated for the first time. Not by choice. A routine hospital admission for Rosemary triggers a nightmare series of events which drags the couple further and further down into the hell of a well meaning bureaucracy. The care system decides that the couple can no longer take care of themselves, it would be in their 'best interest' to be separated. Rosemary and Philip know better.
