Buckle your seatbelt as the director of The Incredibles takes your family on an action-packed thrill ride! Tomorrowland transports you on an inspiring and magical journey of wonder and adventure to a place where if you can dream it, you can do it.
Was a great idea, but poorly executed. Completely miscast as well. No one really seemed appropriate for their roles. Oddly violent at times, which stunned my daughter. Act three was awful. Was fairly interesting up until they returned to, wherever or whatever Tomorrowland is. House's nihilistic speech was an eye-roller too. Then thought Clooney was going to romantically kiss a ten year old girl. Super awkward creepy moment! All in all, could've used a few more rewrites before production started.
Really sad that movies like this exist. Itâs completely offensive. This movie pushes the idea that if youâre not a genius and a optimist then you donât deserve to live because you gave up and fed the wrong wolf. Meaning you had a choice and chose wrong and donât deserve help or inclusivity. The message here is the most ignorant trash Iâve ever heard. The villain and main characters both believe this. Thatâs really judgmental coming from white prodigyâs who hoard technology for their own sheer enjoyment. The movie clearly forgot that people are driven for an infinite amount of reasons, not just optimists or geniusâs succeed or contribute as it would like to infect young minds to think.
This movie is all about the action and the acting. Sure, there is a decent plot hidden somewhere. And there's a worthy message about how we need to protect the earth. But still, this was meant more to entertain with dazzling special effects and action sequences. George Clooney feels like a miscast here, however. Matt Damon or Brad Pitt could have done the role rather well. But despite that, four stars!
