And Kelly McGillis sizzles as the civilian instructor who teaches Maverick a few things you can't learn in a classroom.

Tom cruise in one of his slickest defining roles. This is a quintessential 80's film about an egotistical Rogue hero finding enough humility and courage to go out there and be the best. Fun from beginning to end, especially if you grew up in the 80's. For the exact same movie on 4 wheels... check out days of thunder.

Go sit back in your high chairs, turn on Power Rangers again, n melt your brain some more... The acting may not hav been Shakespearean, but it captured everything it was designed to, and if home audio companies are still using it to test their systems, cuz its loaded with REAL jets n sounds then it must b pretty good.

Great movie, but I can't play it on my xbox through YouTube or anything. It tells me I rented/purchased it but it just says "Something went wrong" and it's impossible to just request a refund. I want my family to see it on our tv and because Chromebook restricts screen-mirroring on a movie I also can't just do that! Yes this should be a review on the movie, but this seems like the only way to get anyones attention regarding simply renting a movie, it not working, and how hard to get a refund!
