Tom Cruise is superb as Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, a daring young flyer who's out to become the best of the best. And Kelly McGillis sizzles as the civilian instructor who teaches Maverick a few things you can't learn in a classroom.

Subtitle track is a good 10-15 seconds ahead of the movie. Hired this so my deaf mother-in-law could watch with us and pretty much made it impossible for her to watch. If you plan on using subbies, think again.

Accidently purchased top gun movie and tried to contact google play but 99percent impossible. would not allow me to change my email address on there , waste of time cant watch on tv, just go to a shop and buy a movie, not worth the hassle. answered questions to get a refund but there was no where to send it!!!

Just love the seat of the pants flying sequences. I have seen it over 15 times with my nephew who was so enthralled with it. Bluray , great sound on wooden floors made it very realistic. I am in my mid 70's and still love watching the aerial scenes. Look forward to the new Top Gun.
