On January 20th, 2020 the US and South Korea both discovered their first cases of COVID-19. However, 9 months later, the novel Coronavirus has claimed the lives of almost 200,000 Americans and caused staggering economic damage, while in South Korea, there were no significant lockdowns and, in an urbanized population of 51 million, only 344 lives have been lost. Where did we go wrong? As the presidential election nears, Americans are increasingly enraged by a lack of clear leadership, endemic political corruption and left to wonder how did the wealthiest and most powerful country in the world manage to fail so thoroughly in its response to a global pandemic? Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney, directing with Ophelia Harutyunyan and Suzanne Hillinger, interrogates this question and its devastating implications in Totally Under Control. With damning testimony from public health officials and hard investigative reporting, Gibney exposes a system-wide collapse caused by a profound dereliction of Presidential leadership. Many falsehoods in this. Actual deaths include people killed in motorcycle and car accidents. Dr. Birx and the Illinois Director of Health have both clearly stated that if you had COVID19 at the time of death EVEN THOUGH IT WAS CAUSED BY ALTERNATE REASONS, it's still listed as a COVID19 death. Look up PCR tests and their false positives, via the CDC false positives site. They can't distinguish between cold virus antibodies and covid19. Interesting that 'Google' presents 'factc checkers' saying that isn't true, but the CDC on its own site states that it is. Talk about biased and lies. The same time 'cases' skyrocketed, was the same time the way 'cases' are counted, from 'confirmed' to 'suspected'. All of this is nonsense. Survival rates for the elderly are 96% Below 70? 99%. Democrat states are locked up tightest; now the WHO says 'no lockdowns' Nice. Now, 70% of mask wearers catch COVID19 with the worst symptoms. Enough with the evil agenda.

What a bunch of LUNATIC REVIEWERS, even WORSE documentary. I love how the blame is thrown on ONE PERSON'S shoulders, when HE initially closed borders in preparation for this, and was ridiculed and called racist for doing so. Meanwhile, ALL the mainstream media proclaims it wasn't that bad, that Trump was making a bigger deal than needed at the time, and Pelosi was throwing block parties in CHINATOWN, San Fran, telling everyone it was fine, there was no problem. You people are screwed in the head. Furthermore, each state reacted DIFFERENTLY to the virus, and the Governors did what THEY felt was neccessary, along with letting riots and protests occur. But that's okay. Blame one person for what HE cannot control due to the Liberals and media creating their own narrative. God help us if Biden wins the election. At least we held the Senate. Some stupid people, here...

Yes, some methods employed were harsher than what was used in the US. However, considering the lack of strategy by the federal government, with the idiotic partisan resistence to appropriate protection measures, and the rapid fire misinformation supplied by the White House, the number of needless deaths won't be known for quite some time. Mr. Trump should not, and will not, be forgiven for his string of disasterous, and seemingly malicious, actions. History will not be kind to this president.
