Über diesen Film

The creative minds behind Disney•Pixar's groundbreaking animated blockbusters invite you back inside the toy box for a heartwarming and hilarious movie you'll never forget. In Toy Story 3, Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen) and the rest of the Toy Story gang return for an all-new adventure, along with a few new faces – some plastic, some plush – including Barbie's counterpart Ken (voiced by Michael Keaton), a thespian hedgehog named Mr. Pricklepants (voiced by Timothy Dalton) and a strawberry-scented bear named Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear (voiced by Ned Beatty). It's "the biggest, best, most exciting Toy Story of them all," raves Access Hollywood's Scott Mantz. As Andy prepares to depart for college, Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the rest of Andy's faithful toys wonder what will become of them. But, when a mix-up lands them at Sunnyside Daycare, they meet a host of new toys and soon discover a wild new adventure is just beginning!

Let's get the technicalities out of the way: the movie is gorgeous, sounds good and the voice acting is top-notch. Ok now, this is in my opinion the weakest of the 3 Toy Story movies which is sad because it had the potential to be the best. First problem comes from the toys themselves. Toy Story created lots of new toys that were fun to discover and watch evolve as characters and we could also enjoy the licensed toys for a quick laugh but this movie puts all its chips on licensed goods which makes it predictable. Second is the story. They had the potential for a great coming of age theme for Andy who had grown up and was going to college but that was all squeezed out in the last 5 minutes of the movie which didn't give it enough time to breathe. The toys also had a good and artful chance to retire in this movie but clearly Disney didn't want kids to experience anything but glee so that was scrapped for a ridiculous and simplistic "McGuyver" ending. The kids will love it but I'm the kid who grew up with the original movie and though this movie clearly wanted to talk to me, marketing wouldn't let it. #ASwingAndAMiss

The best in the series. It's a coming of age story as Andy is off to college and no longer needs the toys and passes them on to Bonnie. Woody must expect to let go of Andy. And Lotso is such a great two faced villain with an actual tragic back story. The whole idea that the day care was like a prison and Lotso and his band of toys were like a gang or mafia that controlled everything was cool. It was a great way to end the almost perfect trilogy...then the TS4 came.

..if the movies started off at 9.99 and then 14.99 for HD. Hard to pay so much when you can buy a Bluray off Amazon or Ebay for around the same price. The HD versions of everything on Google are only DVD quality (480p), so not really HD. Just afraid that when I get GoogleTV it's going to look awful on my screen.
