About this movie

From the producers of The King’s Speech comes the remarkable true story of Robyn Davidson (Mia Wasikowska), a young woman who leaves her life in the city behind to make a solo trek through almost 2,000 miles of sprawling Australian desert. Accompanied by only her dog and four unpredictable camels, she sets off on a life-changing journey. Along the way, she meets National Geographic photographer Rick Smolan (Adam Driver) who begins to photograph her voyage. Tracks is an inspirational tale of self-discovery, set against one of the most dangerous and breathtaking backdrops on the planet. A story of courage and tenacity. The photography was stunning and I was mesmerised throughout. For those who have never been to Australia it is a must see. This beautiful country is diverse and huge and vastly under populated and even a large number of Australians have yet to get to know it!
