Four years after South Korea's total decimation in TRAIN TO BUSAN, the zombie thriller that captivated audiences worldwide, acclaimed director Yeon Sang-ho brings us PENINSULA, the next nail-biting chapter in his post-apocalyptic world. Jung-seok, a soldier who previously escaped the diseased wasteland, relives the horror when assigned to a covert operation with two simple objectives: retrieve and survive. When his team unexpectedly stumbles upon survivors, their lives will depend on whether the best-or worst-of human nature prevails in the direst of circumstances.

3 and a half out of 5. Train To Busan Presents: Penisula does not have the feels most of the time of the original, is a bit of a mess, and the car bump turn sequences.... You'll see.... Are a bit cheesy yet wild. Other scenes work like an Arena type thing but that also is a little messy maybe. The ending sequence is where this one really shines however. This film can get boring, but it's decent enough. It works and doesn't work. It has the thrill though and emotions still enough.

It was kinda mid tbh. The emotional scenes weren't as impactful as they should've been. Some of the deaths really came down to who took the shot or reacted fastest. I wish I knew more about the family. I did enjoy the action scenes, especially the car chases. The mom and oldest daughter were the best! That one jump scare in the beginning of the evacuation lol

I have accually watched this movie 3 times. I wasnt to to sure in the Begining, because its a little slow, BUT GIVE IT TIME! I think that THEY DID an INCREADIBLE JOB, makeing the zombies look like they were REALLY INFECTED with a PARASITE. The STORY was very EASY to understand. I also fell in LOVE with the CARECTORS! I GIVE THIS KOREAN FILM 2 THUMBS UP! I would LOVE TO SEE MORE from this PRODUCER!! THANK YOU, & KUDOES Now Im going to watch one other movie w/Director,( Train to Busan!) 2016
