Four years after South Korea's total decimation in TRAIN TO BUSAN, the zombie thriller that captivated audiences worldwide, acclaimed director Yeon Sang-ho brings us PENINSULA, the next nail-biting chapter in his post-apocalyptic world. It's alright, and better than most of the B or C level zombie flicks out there. Cannot beat Train to Busan for originality and script. This was more like Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift with kids and zombies added in.

There's little good here. I was hoping for at least a fun b movie ride but this isn't fun. It's so poorly paced that I just wanted it to end long before it became 90 percent awful cg. What a disappointment.

A good action flick, but doesn't reinvent the genre !
