Painfully accurate scenario of much of Scotland at the time, in terms of the country's drug addiction. A great cast, with a drafty, slightly manic directing style that tightened noticeably as Boyle perfected his craft.

Seen this movie only lord knows how many times since it's original release and it still never fails to pull me right into it to this very day...movies like this really don't come along as often as they should and if you haven't seen Trainspotting already, do yourself a favor and check it out. It really is that damn good and can't wait to see what Boyle and company are gonna do with T2, which already looks awesome 😊

Great movie. It glamourizes just a little, but it's pretty close to reality at the same time. Especially with the struggle between wanting to get high, and wanting something else, as well as, the judgement of those around.
