About this movie

Technology will accelerate exponentially. Within 25 years, computers will have consciousness. Humans will soon be bionic. These predictions make bestselling author Ray Kurzweil (The Singularity Is Near) a prophetic genius to some, and a "highly sophisticated crackpot" to others. There is no question, however, that he has predicted the future with more accuracy than anyone else in history.

Well done film. Variety of opinions gave the film balance for the viewer to assess the subject. Frankly humans have been creating the world from a reactionary stand point, from their emotions such as fear, for thousands of years. All we get from it is the repeating of patterns. Nothing has changed we are just wearing new clothes. There is still war only with bigger and better weapons etc. Why not look at " what is" instead of from this idea place of "what could be" to solve problems ?

With his track record, hard to argue with Ray Kurzweil's predictions about the future of humanity. A thought-provoking commentary.

The film made me a little afraid for the future of humanity & more than a little sad for Kurzweil's inability to deal with human mortality.
