About this movie

From director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg comes the best 'Transformers' ever! With humanity facing extinction from a terrifying new threat, it's up to Optimus Prime and the Autobots to save the world. But now that our government has turned against them, they'll need a new team of allies, including inventor Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) and the fearsome Dinobots!

After the TV series and the two high moon studio game releases in the last few years, there was a hope this 4th film would really capture the essence / boyhood dream of the animated series, especially after a weak first 3 films in comparison. Oh how I was wrong.. Mr Bay, please leave writing / directing to Steven next time and just do the catering, it would save me wasting 3 hours of bad jokes, obvious product placement and 4 different villains (one being a human who randomly shows up in the big showdown). And the fact the main character can use a gun and his strength to stop a swing attack from a metal 6+ tonne robot.. Please

The most awful and disjointed plot of the series so far. "Actors" who cannot deliver any dialogue, poor children masked by slow motion and explosions and the biggest crime of all are the most boring transformers performance so far. Hate this film. Quit your job Bay, you suck at it.

You have to go into this film with eyes open. Lots of explosions. Fast action. Bad jokes. Overly long and poor story but its an enjoyable fun ride with lots of stunts and scenes and the transformers are put first in both action. Story and charecther development. Personally like it and watch it just to enjoy seeing an action film with my favourite transformers.
