This film mixes the comedy, action, adventure and darkness that made the last two what they were. The second kind of fell flat on its face and only achieved a 3.8/5 from me, but this picks it up, dusts off its shoulders, and gives it a nice warm handshake. This film is very dark and while humour is still up there, so is the amount of full blown action this movie gives. To finish off a spectacular trilogy, Transformers Dark Of The Moon, gives us one unforgettable farewell to the autobots

It's just too dramatic in my opinion. Good to see Megatron finally getting the sending off he needed. Ken Jeong got killed off good cos he was annoying. Sentinel Prime, I still don't get why he made a deal with Megs and killed Ironhide. I was not expecting Ironhide's death

I thought the first film was fantastic entertainment and an enjoyable trip back to a franchise of my childhood. The sequel was watchable but marked a noticeable decline from the quality of the first film. However dark of the moon was abysmal. The opening plot could have been brilliant but this film was simply one long cgi-fest with no characters I could care less about. This third film tried way too much to be a comedy at the expense of characters with no reward to the audience. I found it boring.
