The battle for Earth continues in this action-packed blockbuster from director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg. When college-bound Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) learns the truth about the ancient origins of the Transformers, he must accept his destiny and join Optimus Prime® and Bumblebee® in their epic battle against the Decepticons®, who have returned stronger than ever with a plan to destroy our world.

The movie has very good CGI and action scenes(as all Transformers movies do), but the story in very convoluted and poorly executed, filled to the brim with many unnecessary scenes. There was a lot of potential for this film's story, but it was unfortunately botched by the 2009 writer's strike. The music score is still really good as they were composed by the legendary Steve Jablonsky. If you are a hardcore Transformers fan I would recommend you watch it, but if you aren't then don't.
