Joe and Cheryl Hickey (Kevin Bacon and Courtney Love), along with Joe's cousin Marvin (Pruitt Taylor Vince), have orchestrated and refined a foolproof plan to extort money from wealthy families. Their next victims are anesthesiologist Will Jennings (Stuart Townsend) and his wife, Karen (Charlize Theron), a textile designer, whose comfortable lives are shattered when the Hickeys abduct their 6-year-old daughter (Dakota Fanning) while Will is out of town at a conference. I really enjoyed this movie. I think Kevin Bacon ( Joe) and Courtney Love ( Sharon) didn't have any right to break the happy and loving family in this film but it ended in a stunning way i wasn't expecting that would happen.

The young daughter of a wealthy doctor is kidnapped. Edge of your seat action and excellent story.

This is one of my favorite movies. Great cast and plot. Not at all predictable. Edge of your seat thrilling.
