WHEN THE HEADLINES COME TO LIFE... Oscar winners NICOLAS CAGE (Best Actor 1995, Leaving Las Vegas) and NICOLE KIDMAN (Best Actress 2002, The Hours) each re-team with iconic director JOEL SCHUMACHER (The Client, A Time to Kill, Batman Forever, 8mm) in the provocative thriller TRESPASS. Happily married couple Sarah (Kidman) and Kyle (Cage) and their rebellious teenage daughter Avery (Liana Liberato, Trust) live with all of life's creature comforts in a secure, sprawling modern home of glass, stone and steel surrounded by a thick forest. On a quiet night when Kyle, a successful diamond dealer, is preparing for an evening meeting and after an earlier argument, Sarah is attempting to reconcile with her daughter, their comfortable lives are completely upturned. When two men in police uniform are captured on their front gate security camera seeking entry, Kyle makes them welcome - too late to realise that he has actually given access to a group of brutal thugs out to make a big score with the family as hostages. lotsa punch ups and violence.......such a lovely love story about TRUST :) lol it was okay. Good too see Nic Cage acting differently to his usual 'drone' mode.

Terrible story, wooden acting. If I were Vishnu I'd give this lame movie 6 thumbs down.
