True Story explores the complexity of friendships, manhood, and the vulnerability of relationships. - True Story is a drama with moments of humor that takes place in New York. A young and single African American father, named Hakim, is forced to deal with his past while maintaining his friendship from childhood, and wanting more out of his life. After meeting a beautiful young lady named Nia, Hakim is mesmerized and the characters take us on a journey exploring love, and friendships at their core.

I'm unsure why the background contains images from the other True Story movie but never the less, this movie was corny and you shouldn't waste time or money on it.
