Absolutely Brilliant. Really brought home the injustice of the McCarthy witch-hunts. Like others I really can't understand why Bryan Cranston didn't win an Oscar for this. Comparing this to George Clooney's Good Night and Good Luck, which was also a good film on the same dark period in American history, I found this film, Trumbo, much more compelling, particularly for audiences who may not be that familiar with the events of the time.

Brilliant movie. Eye-opening information on the McCarthyism hysteria in Hollywood in the 50s and how John Wayne reacted in the middle of it. Bryan Cranston deserved the Oscar for his portrayal of Dalton Trumbo and was robbed. Top notch acting by the whole cast superb script and a masterly touch by the director. This is a must see film.

Very entertaining, inspiring, true story. Bryan Cranston's dry delivery makes it very funny. If you want to know what Kirk Douglas and John Wayne were like in real life, if you want a peek into how movies like Roman Holiday, Spartacus and Exodus came into being, watch this. #McCarthyism #Blacklisting
