À propos de ce film

Years after the accidental death of her folk-legend songwriter husband Hunter, Hannah (Rebecca Hall) has yet to fully accept her small-town life in Maine without him. She spends her days contemplating a book she'd like to write on Hunter's life and work, and indulging in a fling with a local meathead (Joe Manganiello). When approached by brash New York academic Andrew (Jason Sudeikis), intent on penning his own biography of her late husband, Hannah is roused into action. Initially wary of his intentions she decides to collaborate with him on the book, leading them both to surprising discoveries. As Hannah and Andrew dig deeper into Hunter's life and death, they come to their own revelations about what it means to live, and to love. Tumbledown is a comedic love story with heart, humour, and tenderness.

Given a choice between; an intrusive, rude, "Smart-a**e" (as scripted) city type and a big, beefy, friendly, lumberjack type, who is kind to small animals but can kill his own dinner and is incredibly good in bed (as scripted) - our audience chose Mr Lumberjack! It is an interesting take on the mortality of the famous and their post mortem adoration but overall a bit lame, no chemistry not to mention a little creepy.

Something about it just didn't feel right.. may just have been the mood my girlfriend and I were in when we watched it but it just didn't grab us. I think it's a decent film but it felt short of being something great
