In the waning days of World War II, the Navy warship USS Indianapolis secretly delivered one of two atomic bombs that would eventually end the war. The Japanese attacked and sank the heavy cruiser. The USS Indianapolis' mission was so classified it was not reported missing, and no one knew the ship had been attacked until four days later. Of the 1197 crewmembers, nearly 300 went down with the ship. Stranded in the shark-infested waters of the Philippine Sea, the remaining survivors of the USS Indianapolis endured hunger, thirst, heat, delirium, relentless shark attacks and the death of many shipmates. Was really looking forward to this film however..The worst SFX I've ever seen. I thought is this a joke or spoof, but sadly no it's just utter sh!t. I can't believe I paid £13 for this, that has to be £12 more than the entire film budget. Cage's career is over. Buy this if you want to see the pinaccle in dog ship (see what I did there) film making.

Wow. An extremely harrowing film about war and PTSD. The captain took a beating by the gold olé American elite and press. **** them all. Well done to Clinton getting him posthumously exonerated. The real accounts at the end are jaw dropping, just like Band of Brother's. Yes there was some CGI but don't be superficial, listen to the real story being told. I love this film.

One of the worst films I have ever watched. The acting is awfull with the camera work even worse. This film is an insult to those who were on the Indianapolis at the time of the action and following tragedy. Those who made this film should hang their heads in shame and so give true rememberance to all those that gave their lives in service to this ship. In the foregoing, the producers and actors of this have made money for nothing else than producing a film of total incompetence and rubbish.
