Om denne filmen

In the grim darkness of the 41st Millennium, the only force that stands between humanity and alien hordes are the genetically enhanced super-soldiers known as Ultramarines. When a select squad of scarred veterans and raw recruits respond to a distant planet's distress beacon, they discover that a horrific evil has been unleashed. Amidst a living nightmare of chaos, carnage, and demonic fury, these steel battle-brothers must now survive the ultimate enemy: themselves. Featuring the voices of Terence Stamp (WANTED, HALO 3, TV's SMALLVILLE), John Hurt (V FOR VENDETTA, HELLBOY FRANCHISE, TV's MERLIN), Sean Pertwee (EQULIBRIUM, EVENT HORIZON), and Donald Sumpter (TV's GAME OF THRONES, THE GIRL WITH A DRAGON TATOO).

This movie is utter trash. I am a huge nerd for warhammer 40k. I have hundreds of books. But this...this is appalling. Aside from its incredibly simple and boring story. You are also hit by the horrid and lackluster settings. Dan probably had nothing to do with this garbage other than signing his name on it. There is no way he would pen such a shoddy and to be completely honest. BORING. you will be bored. This is hardly action packed and just like with dow 2 scaled down warfare. Don't waste $ stream it

So lets start this off as ...I'm a reader and 40k is my favorite! This movie is a true low point in the 40k universe! Crappy animation and a dull storyline are to blame. This would not pass for a good read. The best parts are the Title and the end credits, everything in between is just filler. GW needs to go exterminatus on whoever made this. But i have high hopes for the LORD INQUISITOR fan film! Better luck next time...

I don't get it. 40k has a rich back story. Dan Abnett is a great writer. It has some great acting talent. But somehow, it resulted in a boring movie with poor visuals and no redeeming features. I find space marines particularly boring, since they have little character and simplistic story arcs, but even the action scenes were dull.
