OK. I gave it a chance. The movie is alright, 2 stars is enough. Just basing it off on the story, you can kinda tell what's gonna happen next. - 1 Star: Very weak jump scares, and I get it, they tried to make it uniquely different from most super natural movies. It was just delivered poorly. - 1 Star: The acting was terrible, almost felt like they're reading boards on each scene. - 1 Star: There's about 7 or 8 actors, so I had to deal with the same acting for an 1 and a half.

This is a decent horror movie. Clearly, lost to people who are ignorant of Korean lore. It does rely a bit on jump scares but otherwise a decent scary movie night in. Also, apparently, people are idiots who can't figure how to turn on the subtitles and then rate movie badly because of their ineptitude.

A ok film. Not particularly scary and fairly clichéd. Sandra Oh and Fivel Stewart give decent performances and they work good as mother and daughter and the Korean culture and lore is interesting. But film relies to much on jump scares. Would give two and half stars if could.
