About this movie

Street-smart thief Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world's oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate's long-lost brother...but only if they can learn to work together.

I give one star because there's no none stars available. I mean really, it's a cartoon, with real actors, well I say real, however Wahlberg I think tries so hard to act, the makeup and green screen even leave the scene. I rented this and I'm actually thinking about asking for my money back. Eat plenty of chocolate or popcorn to get through this one. Cheers.

I wouldn't watch it again. They seem to have merged the storyline between 3 games to produce a movie which is an uneven yet equal mixture of Tomb Raider, Fools Gold, Sahara and Indiana Jones which didn't do the game justice. It's a buy of regret - wait to rent it - you'll want your money back.

This movie was epic. It portrayed a great storyline with some grit. Yes there was some over the top drama scenes but hey is a 2022 movie (they all have them). I especially liked the twist at the end. I look forward to the sequel. It had a fantastic cast of A lister stars and I enjoyed the banter between Wahlberg and Holland.
